How good do you feel deep within?

OUTWARDLY WE CAN APPEAR SO CONFIDENT AND SO SUCCESSFUL. Others might see us as being clever, in control, polished or even slick. This is just our ‘mask’. Our ‘mask’ of practiced responses and ingrained habits. INWARDLY WE CAN FEEL SO EMPTY AND SO UNFULFILLED.

Deep within, we feel unhappy and discontent. Inside ourselves, we can be in dire need and facing inner turmoil.

WE YEARN FOR DEEP INNER PEACE.

We have not yet found what we truly need.

WE HAVE NOT FOUND OUR TRUE PURPOSE.

We have not found our true Selves. Who we really are and what we should be doing?

WE LIVE IN A STATE OF DENIAL OF OUR TRUE INNER NEEDS.

We work so hard to distract ourselves from the true reality, the true situation. We just convince ourselves that our current way is right.

WE RELY ON TEMPORARY MEASURES TO EASE OUR SUFFERING.

We bribe and comfort ourselves with temporary rewards and transient pleasures.

WE SQUANDER OUR LIMITED TIME, DRAIN OUR PHYSICAL ENERGY, AND EXHAUST OUR DEFENSES.

Holding back our inner needs does require considerable effort.

RESISTING THIS INNER SELF-EXPRESSION CAUSES UN-EASE.

Inner needs do not just stop. So this is a recipe for a disaster – A crisis!

A CRISIS IS A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE OUR LIVES.

A crisis forces us to pause and re-evaluate ourselves. Hopefully we will use this opportunity to change.

WE CAN SEE A CRISIS AS A HUGE LOSS, OR ALTERNATIVELY AS A POSITIVE BREAKTHROUGH.

Too often we continue living the same way.

SOMETIMES WE CAN REALIZE THE NEED TO CHANGE OUR LIVES WITHOUT A CRISIS.

Sometimes the realization of our low grade chronic suffering and deep dissatisfaction is sufficient for us to start changing ourselves.

INWARDLY WE YEARN FOR ANOTHER PATH, A NEW WAY.

However, our habitual patterns, our conditioned ways of doing things, are so strong.

IT REQUIRES CONSIDERABLE EFFORT TO BREAK FREE FROM OLD HABITS.

Our old behaviors are so established that they have become our comfort zone.

WE ARE ADDICTED TO OUR USUAL WAYS OF LIVING.

We have become codependent or attached to our current way of living. The meager returns seem a safer option than facing the fear of the unknown. Not knowing what to do or who to turn to. Facing the humiliation of asking for help.

NO WONDER IT USUALLY TAKES A CRISIS in our lives for us to dramatically change ourselves. This finally gives us a window of opportunity. We finally allow ourselves to be open to something completely new.

THERE IS ANOTHER WAY. But first we must recognize that state of unease and dissatisfaction deep within. Then we can seek appropriate expert advice and avoid having a major life or health crisis. This option is further explained on the UltimateTest.org website and blog.
