In the previous blog post we posed the profound question ‘Who am I?’. We invited you to deeply contemplate this dilemma. We postulated that ANY highly intelligent & conscious entity, however large or small, would eventually ask this same question. It would seek to understand its origins.
The largest such Intelligent Awareness that we could potentially envision is the entire Cosmos or ‘All that is.’ This is sometimes termed ‘Cosmic Consciousness’ or ‘Universal Consciousness'. This large body of Consciousness & Awareness is in the same predicament as we are, with regards to working out ‘Who am I?’.
'Universal Consciousness' is trying to ‘solve’ or more correctly ‘directly experience’ the answer, just as we are.
As humans we approach this from the physical perspective. Universal Consciousness does this from the other perspective: that of pure nonphysical energy!
It’s interesting to postulate what this PURE ENERGY of Cosmic Awareness would do to better understand & directly experience itself?
WHAT PROCESS WOULD UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS USE TO DISCOVER: ‘WHO AM I?’
The solution is indeed remarkable! We as human beings are part of this solution. Every single human and sentient being is an essential part of this exploration.
Have you worked it out? How does pure Awareness better discover its true nature?
THE SHORT ANSWER IS BY ‘CREATION’. IT CREATES A SENTIENT PHYSICAL EXISTENCE. This offers Universal Consciousness a totally different perspective or platform to experience Awareness from! That’s how it can have a better Awareness of itself. Physicality proves the vehicle to better sense & appreciate its own nature.
EXTENDING AWARENESS INTO THE PHYSICAL DIMENSION IS THE COSMOS EXPLORING ‘WHO IT IS’!
That’s what we are part of! Have you grasped the enormity of what this means? The implication of this!
WE ARE THIS UNIVERSAL CONSCIOUSNESS exploring itself IN THE THIRD DIMENSION, as a human.
Every person is thus an essential part of the exploration in this physical dimension.
EACH SENTIENT INDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTES A DIFFERENT & UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE TO THE WHOLE.
From the universal perspective each human input is just as valuable as another.
Universal Consciousness can have no favourites because this would automatically bias or skew the central understanding of ‘what it really is.’
The way Conscious Awareness goes about creating in the physical world also reflects ‘what it really is.’ So, every part of the process contributes to the understanding of Self.
In summary, AT OUR SOURCE, WE AS HUMANS ARE ‘UNIVERSAL AWARENESS’.
How we go about searching for ‘who I am’ also contributes to BOTH our personal understanding & that of the Universal Collective.
The ‘journey of life’ for every individual human being is thus very important. The journey as a whole is more important than any realisations that are made along the way.
So, how we live and how we experience life is perhaps the best answer to the grand & universal question: ‘who am I?’
